Tasked with transforming this compact car into a contender for a grueling 24-hour endurance race, Mahdavi Motorsports utilized their expertise in performance engineering and race preparation. Precision Engineering for Ultimate Performance
Mahdavi Motorsports began by thoroughly reworking the Del Sol’s powertrain to ensure it could withstand the rigors of endurance racing. The engine was upgraded with forged internals and high-performance camshafts. An upgraded cooling system, including a larger radiator, was installed to maintain optimal engine temperatures during extended high-speed runs. The fuel system was enhanced with high-flow injectors and a race-spec fuel pump to ensure consistent performance throughout the race.
